Where Milan's defenders rank in value among serie A counterparts

AC Milan are one of the best sides in Serie A and whilst they were not able to challenge for the title last season, they did end the season in the top four and will feature in the Champions League again next season. 

Finishing that high in the table tends to mean that the overall monetary value of your squad is very high, and according to Transfermarkt.it (via Milan News), Milan’s defenders are among the highest valued in the league.

The Milan defender with the highest transfer value is Fikayo Tomori at €40 million, which puts him fourth in Serie A. Alessandro Bastoni at Inter and Napoli’s Kim Min-jae are ahead of him. Seventh is Pierre Kalulu, with the Frenchman being valued at around €30m. German defender Malick Thiaw does not feature in the top 10 of the list but if he impresses again next season, he could soon rise in value.
