FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk (Belarusian: FK Shakhtsior Saligorsk, FK Shakhtsyor Salihorsk) is an Belarusian Premier League football club that is located in Soligorsk, a city. Soligorsk (Salihorsk) .

1. History

The club was established in the year 1961. In the Soviet time, Shakhtyor Soligorsk was playing in the top division or second division of Belarusian SSR league. It was also being relegated to lower levels (Minsk Oblast league) for a brief time. in 1971 Shakhtyor was absorbed by two regional Soligorsk squads (Khimik as well as Gornyak). Their greatest results came towards the close of the Soviet times and when the team finished as runners-up in league twice (1988 and 1990) and took home the Belarusian SSR Cup three times (1985 1986, 1988, 1985).

In 1992 Shakhtyor was playing in the Belarusian Premier League. The team was struggling through the 1990s, often trying to prevent being relegated. They were in the bottom position of the league, but they were saved from being relegated after the withdrawal of two more Premier League clubs withdrew.

Following a brief 1998 season, from 1999, they've never been below the 6th position and have become a regular European Cups participant. Shakhtyor Soligorsk became the champions of Belarus in the years 2005, 2020 and 2021. They have been league runners-up six times (2010 2011, 2012, 2013 2016 and 2018). They also were winners of three times the Belarusian Cup three times (2004 2014, 2004 and 2019).
