According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma and West Ham directors will continue negotiations for Gianluca Scamacca’s transfer to the Stadio Olimpico next week.
The deal has been put on hold because Roma only want Scamacca on loan, while West Ham aim for a permanent transfer.

The Giallorossi hope the Hammers will eventually agree to send the player out on loan with an option to buy but depending on their upcoming sales, they could even include an obligation to buy in the deal, tied to team and player’s performances. Scamacca has already given the green light to return to the Capital and according to the report, he strongly wants to play for the Giallorossi again.
The 24-year-old played in the club’s youth sector between 2012 and 2015 before joining PSV. Former Serie A and Premier League star Zola spoke about the future of the Italy international on Saturday, suggesting that he should remain in England for one more season.
