Napoli are looking for a replacement for Hirving Lozano and have identified Real Sociedad’s Takefusa Kubo as a strong option, reports suggest.
The Partenopei are seemingly in a state of flux following their recent Scudetto success, with Luciano Spalletti departing for Rudi Garcia and director Cristiano Giuntoli edging closer to a move to Juventus.
In the squad, Kim Min-Jae seems destined to depart in the coming months and there are endless rumours surrounding star striker Victor Osimhen, who would cost around €150m. Lozano has also been heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.
La Gazzetta dello Sport via TMW details how Napoli are searching for replacements for Lozano and believe Kubo may be the perfect choice to strengthen Rudi Garcia’s squad this summer. Valued at around €20m, the 22-year-old Japanese forward scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 35 La Liga appearances this season. Alternatives to Kubo include Empoli’s Tommaso Baldanzi, Villarreal’s Yeremi Pino and Lille’s Edon Zhegrova.
