Liverpool have announced that Roberto Firmino, Naby Keita, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will leave the club upon the expiry of their contracts this summer.

The quartet were all part of the squad that ended Liverpool's 30-year wait for a top-flight title in 2019/20, as they won the Premier League for the first time.

During a period of great success under Jurgen Klopp, they also won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup in 2019, followed by the FA Cup and Carabao Cup in 2022. Firmino has made 254 Premier League appearances for the Reds, scoring 80 goals and providing 50 assists. Only Willian (284) and Fernandinho (264) have played more matches in the competition among Brazilians.

Milner has featured 228 times for Liverpool, scoring 19 goals and providing 26 assists following his move from Manchester City in 2015. Last month he overtook Frank Lampard to move into third place in the Premier League’s all-time appearance list. He has now played 617 matches in the competition. Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlain arrived from RB Leipzig and Arsenal respectively in 2018 and 2017, but injuries have hampered the pair's time at Anfield.
