Fiorentina are continuing to negotiate a deal with Juventus for midfielder Arthur Melo and things are moving forwardly positively.
The 26-year-old Brazilian midfielder is not in the club’s plans and has already been told that he will not be joining the squad for their pre-season training retreat to the United States.
Arthur spent last season on loan with Liverpool but only made one appearance as a serious injury forced him out of action for the vast majority of the campaign.
As reported by TMW, Fiorentina and Juventus have agreed to set up a loan deal with a buy option attached and are now negotiating the costs of that option. The Bianconeri will also pay 50% of his wages in order to facilitate a move. The Brazilian midfielder is keen to relaunch his career after a difficult few years and noted in an interview recently that he’s feeling healthier than ever ahead of the coming season.
