Roma have announced that the Stadio Olimpico will be open for supporters to watch the team play in the Europa League final against Sevilla on May 31.

Both Roma and Sevilla have received an allocation of 15,000 tickets for the final at Budapest’s 67,000 capacity Puskas Arena, and in order to accommodate for the thousands of supporters who won’t be able to attend, Roma have confirmed that fans will be able to pay to watch the final at the Olimpico instead.

The Giallorossi have set the entrance price at €14 for those in possession of a season ticket and €20 for those who aren’t.

In a press release put out on Friday evening, Roma stressed the importance of supporters being on their best behaviour and staying off the pitch, given that the team will return to play their final game of the Serie A season against Spezia the following Sunday.

The statement read: It will be the love of the Giallorossi that will connect Rome and Budapest. All together, as always, we will have the opportunity to push the team towards the Europa League trophy. At the end of the match, whatever the outcome, the exit will have to take place as usual, to ensure everyone’s safety and the integrity of the pitch, in view of the match against Spezia scheduled only four days later.
